Fly Fishing Photography

Had to scramble, climb, and swim about 200yds to chase this fish down. He was pulling down deep and refused to come up to be netted. Eventually the fly came unbuttoned.

This is where we spotted the first bully of the day. It was the first bully I'd ever seen. I'll never forget standing up there and seeing a 28 inch trout cruising the eddy. I ended up hooking into him on three different occasions. The culmination of months of anticipation and watching the take proved too much as I blew the hookset twice. Eventually, after calming my nerves on other fish I landed the beast.

After two full days of fishing and one fish in the net, so I took a break for some photos as the lighting was changing rapidly and casting some great light onto the water.
